Granville Island - A Cultural Gem
On our 10th day in Vancouver, we explored Granville Island, an artsy and eclectic neighbourhood located just across False Creek from downtown Vancouver. The vibrant public market was a feast for the senses, with stalls selling fresh produce, artisanal crafts, and mouthwatering gourmet treats.
Having researched ahead of time, I knew that CHAU Veggie Express would be my go-to for lunch. It is a 100% plant-based Vietnamese restaurant.
I ordered the RICKETY RICKSHAW which was crispy spring rolls, thin vermicelli rice noodles, shredded bean curd, mung beans, crispy shallots, green leaf lettuce, cucumber, pickles carrots, and more!
Granville Island's thriving arts scene was evident in its numerous galleries, studios, and theaters. We spent the afternoon browsing through unique shops, watching street buskers, and immersing ourselves in the city's creative spirit.
