There are a few pizza places in Waterloo region that have introduced plant-based options but our favourite place to get take-out pizza is Score Pizza! We order from them at least once a month.

What we like about the pizza from Score is that we can each get our own pizza and top it the way we want. Score has unlimited toppings for one price which is fantastic because we like to load our pizzas with lots of toppings and that can really add up if you are ordering from other places. 

The pizzas are stone fired and they use fresh, quality ingredients. When you ‘build your own pizza’ you can choose from different sauces. I always get the traditional red sauce but my husband likes a little spice so he goes for the spicy red sauce. They use the right amount of vegan cheese and it doesn’t feel sticky when you eat it, like some other vegan pizza cheeses. You can also choose between a regular crust or gluten-free.

We usually get a 12” pizza each, but they also have a 8” mini option if you aren’t as hungry as we are on a Friday night!! 

You can get take-out or delivery. We always order online and pick up the pizzas at a time that works for us. The order is always done on time and the staff are really friendly!
