How to Wash Knix Underwear:
Rinse (Optional): Rinsing isn’t necessary unless you are waiting several days before you do your laundry. After wearing your period underwear, rinse them under cold water until the water runs clear. Avoid using hot water as it can set stains. Let air dry until it’s laundry day.
Sort: Sort your period underwear like any other clothing (i.e., darks, lights, colours). It’s perfectly fine to wash them with other clothing. If you are concerned, just rinse them beforehand (see above).
Machine wash: Knix recommends machine washing their period underwear in cold water on a gentle cycle. Use a mild, unscented detergent, as scented detergents may contain chemicals that can irritate sensitive skin or affect the fabric's performance. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners.
Tumble dry on low heat or air dry: Knix’s Super Leakproof line is safe to put in the dryer on a low heat. The light-to-medium absorbency period underwear should lay flat to air dry. Personally I air dry all my underwear regardless of type or style.
