barBURRITO, Waterloo

Friday nights are for take-out and barBURRITO is part of our take-out rotation.

There are lots of options like tacos, quesadillas, burritos and bowls. We usually order the bean burritos. The burritos come in 3 sizes and the small is big enough for me.

You can choose white or whole wheat tortillas and they even have a gluten-friendly option, for an extra $1. I always get whole wheat but my family prefers the white tortillas.

There are many toppings available and I usually stuff my burrito full of rice, 2 types of beans and tons of veggies. Sadly, the burrito sauce isn’t vegan however they do have several spicier options that are vegan. Last time we ordered, I tried the Chipotle BBQ sauce and it wasn’t too spicy for me. I’m not a fan of spicy.

Ordering online and then picking up is super easy because you can customize your burrito at home without feeling rushed by the big line forming behind you as you are deciding whether to add guacamole or not!

In my opinion…always say yes to guacamole!
